Samsung Now Allows You To Unlock And Launch Your Car Using Galaxy Smartphone

One of the features Apple introduced on the iPhone is the Apple Watch is that the device can be used as a car key, allowing users to unlock their cars using their mobile phone or smartwatch (assuming you have the right type of car). Now it looks like Samsung has released a similar look to its smartphones.

The company has announced that assuming you have a cell phone and a car, you can use the company’s phones to unlock and activate your car. These include new Samsung devices such as Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Surprisingly, the new Galaxy Z Flip 3 is missing from the list.

However, at the moment the automotive integration is very limited because it only works with the Genesis GV60, but again, this is not really a mistake for Samsung as this is a new technology. We think that in the future this may be necessary. This is made possible by the use of NFC and UWB technology for mobile phones.

Also, initially this side will only be in Korea where the project is expected to be released by the end of the year.
