Apple releases a number of new features in addition to the UI changes in Safari and some of these features can be found in the Settings app. Let’s take a look at all these secrets and tips & tricks for the new Safari in iOS 15.
Move the Tab Bar Above
With the change of UI in the Safari browser, Apple wanted it to be easier to look with one hand so it moved to the bottom of the window. However, if your mind is not taught this, you can go back to the old ways:
1. Go to the “Settings” app on your phone and select “Safari”.
2. Now, scroll down and go to the “Tabs” section.
3. Here, you will see two options- Tab Bar and Single Tab.
4. Now click on “Only Tab” and that’s it.
You can go to Safari and make sure the tab tab is moved to the top of the window.
Alternatively, you can switch between the bottom and top window by clicking on the “AA” icon and choosing between “Show Top Address Bar” or “Show Bar Tab Down”.
Your First Page
Another great feature introduced in iOS 15 is the Safari launch page. Often, you find favorites, favorites, privacy reports, listings, and more here. However, if you want to change this according to your needs, here’s how to do it:
1. Open the first Safari page by going to the new tab.
2. Now Scroll down and find on “Edit”.
3. Here, you will see all the options that can be found on your homepage. You can simply switch to something you don’t want to see on the first page.
4. Additionally, you can edit the background image here or upload your photo by clicking on the icon.
Please note that you can use the start page for all your activities as Safari connects through your iCloud account. For this reason, you need to change the top menu next to “Use Home Page on All Tools”.
Groups of Tab
You can also create tab groups in Safari with iOS 15 updates. This is not uncommon for most users as other browsers like Chrome already have this. To use Tab Groups in Safari, follow the steps outlined below:
1. Go to Safari on your iPhone and open the browser that you want group.
2. Now, click on the tab images (two circles) to the right.
3. In the dialog box, click the path that shows the number of open tabs here.
4. From the next page, you will have two options for creating a tab group – “New Wide Group”, or “New Tab Group from Tab.
5. Click the second option to set the default tabs here in the Tab Tab.
6. You can now name your Tab group, and click “Save”.
The New Tab tab will appear in the tab section and you can use it by tapping on the two circle tabs and then at no. of taboos. To remove a Tab Group or change it, open the Tab Groups tab and swipe to the left of the tab.
Management System
The Safari interface shows open tabs at the top of your screen and you can switch and switch between them just like you do on your PC. This is useful when you do not want to take a picture of the Tab to change the tabs. Here’s how you can help:
1. Open “Settings” on your iPhone.
2. Scroll down and select “Safari”.

1. Open Safari and go to website with photos.

3. Click and hold and a list will appear, and at the bottom, you will see “Show voice”.
4. Now select the word from the picture or click on the icon below.
5. Then click “Copy” or “Select All” to get all the text.

Web-based photography is an important tool for those who have difficulty viewing sharp colors on various websites. This changes the shape of the Safari around the tabs and navigation areas to match the type of page you are viewing, which is why it is so easy for the eyes to lose a momentary look.

1. As in other ways, go to Settings.
2. Select Safari and scroll down to the Pages section.
3. Here you will be able to change the “Allow WebSing Website”.
That’s right. Now when you open the website, say Facebook, you will see a blue tab and a destination for your Safari. You can stop by following this if it gets annoying.
Browser extensions
The latest iOS updates also bring more support to Safari. You can install additional extensions from the App Store.
- First, go to the App Store and install the extensions you want to use. We are using 1Password – password password here.
2. To use the extras, go to “Safari” via the “Settings” app.
3. Here, click “Extras” and enable the changes that are closest to what you want to use.
If you want to add an add-on or haven’t added any extensions, click on “More Add-ons” and go to the App Store to add more extras.
Alternatively, once added, this can be controlled by the same browser. Just click on the “Aa” button next to the top bar and select “Edit tutorial”.
