Wing Microchips Can Be Used To Cause Disease And Air Damage


How do you monitor a virus or other flying disease? That can be a very long process and you may have to rely on people who are infected and follow their path to see where they can come from, and where they can follow depending on who the patient is in contact with.

However, a team of researchers led by John A. Rogers, a professor of Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and Neurological Surgery at Northwestern University, has developed tiny wing-sensing devices that can be used to track all kinds of wind conditions, whether respiratory or destructive diseases.

These microchips are about the size of a grain of rice and can be shipped as a group that can collect all kinds of useful substances that would otherwise not be possible. They are also made using pollutants so that when they arrive, they are simply recycled into nature.

According to Rogers who shared the inspiration for microchip production, “We thought it might be a fun way to go and we started asking questions like these: what are the most important scientific principles that contribute to the spread of the crop? Can we use it, use it, and apply it in the newly developed electronic community?”

That being said, these winged microchips are not ready to be shipped and the team wants to continue their research by exploring different designs, to take a while before they go to heaven.
