What do you expect from Apple and Epic’s case to the end that you can see Fortnite back on iOS? Think again. This is because according to Epic CEO Tim Sweeney’s tweet, it appears Apple has no interest in Epic’s demand for a refund until the legal battle is over and there will be no further appeal.
For those who missed the case, a few weeks ago, the courts issued a verdict in the case of Apple VS Epic. It ruled them, while Apple was forced to allow developers to integrate external links, and where Epic was forced to pay Apple $ 6 million.

Epic from then on they appealed their loss, but meanwhile has also asked Apple to allow Fortnite to return to the App Store. However, according to a response from Apple’s legal team, it appears that Apple was not happy with Epic’s request for reinstatement, claiming that the company had shown “past evils”.
He also said that he would only consider applying for reinstatement once the court’s decision has been finalized and has not been reversed. Sweeney does not seem to be interested in this as he sees in his tweet that the request could take five years.
Whether it lasts five years or not is unknown. It’s possible that Apple and Epic may have been in a partnership before that time, but for now, iOS players don’t have to rest for Fortnite to return soon.
