How to Establish Parental Supervision

There are many ways to make parental controls on Android TV, depending on the type of TV. For example, you can put the password lock on Android TV, but it is not possible so you have to open it yourself. As a result, apart from this, there are the actions of the Son and the parental correction we are talking about here.

Using the Built-In Part

Some recent Android TVs come with a built-in interface to use Kids calmly. We found this on our Xiaomi TV 5X 43-inch screen. Here’s how to put one together for use with your TV, if available:

1. Turn on your Android TV and in the top right corner you will see a new “Kids” feature.

2. Click on it and then enter the 4 digit Kids mode password.

3. Next, click on Children’s Machine, and there you will see only children’s content.

If a child wants to change at home, they will be asked to enter a passcode. Therefore, please enter a PIN that is difficult for children to understand.

Using Android TV Preferences

If the above option is not available on your TV, you can enable Parental Control from Android TV updates. Follow the following below:

1. On your main TV page, click the “Settings” icon in the right-hand corner.

2. On the next menu, select the “Settings” option and then click “Tools”. (These can vary in different colors, so look at everything else).

3. Next, scroll down and click “Parental Tips”.

4. Set a four-digit password. Once again, make sure it doesn’t overlap.

5. Confirm the password and you will be taken to their Administrator Settings.

6. You will see two ways to prevent your children from including “Program restrictions” and “Closing access sources”.

7. By disabling the app, you can select OTT programs and apps, as well as the restriction rate depending on the age of the children and their environment.

8. For access to the blockchain, you can stop all external sources connected to the TV as an HDMI cable, from where they can connect the content.

On some TVs, you can set the time and days of the week when you want to close. You can also change the password here.

Using Third Party Software

We have used the above method on our Mi TV. However, if your TV does not have these features, you may be able to use other parenting methods or other children’s methods. Many OTT programs these days come with this method, otherwise, you can create a different children’s profile.

1. For example, Prime Video and Netflix come with different children’s profiles.

2. On Hotstar, you can directly select Child Protection Movies from the sidebar.

3. Here you will find the only ones related to children. However, in these systems, children can also access the app without any restrictions.
