Denny Hamlin has been linked with Kyle Larson at the top of the NASCAR Cup Series all season, despite not having a competitive title named.
Eventually he took the first place that was not available at the right time, claiming the Darlington Raceway flag in the first playoff tournament to climb to the top of the playoffs and make sure they rotated.
But after Darlington, the prices went up for Alex Bowman, Kyle Busch, William Byron and Michael McDowell. After the Cook Out Southern 500, the four moved to the border. Saturday at Federated Auto Parts 400 Greetings for first-time runners on Richmond Raceway can go a long way in choosing the driver’s seat heading to the final round of Round 16 next week in Bristol.
Sporting News will follow up on updates and major sharing throughout the NASCAR Cup Series playoff series on Richmond Raceway.
