Matthew Stafford spent his first 12 NFL seasons with the Lions. She will be wearing another blue color in her 13th season.
Stafford is set to make his Rams debut on Sunday night against the Bears (8:20 pm ET, NBC) after being traded from the Lions to Los Angeles on a blockbuster deal in March last to quarterback Jared Goff, 2021 third in the first rounds in 2022 and 2023.
The move was a clear indication by the Rams that it is time to win now and they want something more definite than Goff, who did not agree at the start of his NFL career.
As Stafford prepares to face Chicago, SN is looking at how he arrived in Los Angeles.

Before the 2020 NFL season and the final round of the playoffs, it was said Stafford wanted to leave Detroit.
The first election of 2009 was one of the most reliable in the competition, having thrown at least 4,000 yards in eight days and 20 touchdowns all but three. However, the Lions struggled all the time, only recording a 74-90-1 record in their time with them.
The Rams, meanwhile, he says he tried to run for the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, another NFC North quarterback star who also spoke of an uncertain future, even him finally returned to Green Bay.

Goff’s exchange for Stafford
Goff helped the Rams reach the Super Bowl following the 2018 season and looks set to be a long-term solution for LA at QB. In the same year, he completed 64.9% of his moves at 4,688 yards, with 32 touchdowns and 12 touchdowns.
He fell the following season with 22 touchdowns and 16 picks before dropping 20 touchdowns and 13 INTs in 2020. The Rams are looking for a new face on the ground, someone other than the player they first picked on the 2016 roster.
The Lions had already started buying Stafford. Several followers he came calling, but Stafford did not want to end it Relatives or Notes.
