There are great stories of Lord of the Rings fans! But not really all right story. Instead, it can be a bad story, especially, given the length of time you have been waiting to edit your file LotR and Hobbit Blu-play. JRR Tolkien’s six favorite video editors are coming to 4K Ultra HD again … and that’s about it. All of them good additions on your Blu-ray, however, will remain.

It is not uncommon to describe a box containing 31 plates as “empty bones,” but that is what the “Middle-Earth Ultimate Collector’s Edition” contains. It’s got videos, and that’s all. Now, to be honest, you get it everything videos, all in 4K UHD and converted to Blu-ray, including theaters and all colors. It’s hard to see, so here’s a breakdown of what the set has:

There are three of them Hobbit movies –An Unexpected Journey, Smaug’s Breakdown, and The Battle of the Five Hosts-It has four discs each: Blu-ray display, Blu-ray Extension Edition, theaters in 4K, and then Extra in 4K. But three movies of the Lord of the Rings—Association of Rings, Second Houses, and Return of the King–Have six discs: theaters on Blu-ray, theaters in 4K, and then the Editions Editions take two discs in both formats. That’s a total of 30 discs, leaving one left-over.

This disc does not contain the available 12 disc disks – two for each video – available in the original Blu-ray output. Called ‘Appendices’, this one had hours and hours behind-the-scenes photography, writing, interviews, artwork, and more, and some of the greatest creative works ever made. Although The Hobbit received the same treatment, to present clearly and concisely how the design of this trilogy worked. Instead, here it is everything extras included with Middle-Earth Ultimate Collector’s Edition:

• Original Cannes Film Festival original film

• Photos from the recent Alamo Drafthouse conference

• 30-40 “special” minutes for each of the three Lord of the Rings movies

… and we’re done! That’s the list! Oh, what? Three video editing modes available for beginner Blu-ray? This is also missing. The Middle-Earth Ultimate Collector’s Edition they do have a large box containing fine art, various art cards, and a “64-page booklet with clothes, photographs, and production notes from the film.” You can see all the wonders in the second-37 video above.

We have been reaching out to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is the reason why this set has left all the other good ones behind, and we will change this when we get the answer. For now, Middle-Earth Ultimate Collector’s Edition is priced at $ 249.99, and should be released on October 26th.
