Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson says he is worried about Cristiano RonaldoThe seemingly greedy line-up at Juventus will continue Manchester United.
Speaking at the Gab & Juls show, Stewart Robson said he was not happy to see Cristiano Ronaldo return to Manchester United this season. Despite criticism, Robson still wants to see what the five-time Ballon d’Or winner has brought to the Red Devils. Robson said:
“I’m not very happy because I’ve seen Ronaldo play for two or three years at Juventus. I know what he can bring, what he can’t bring. I’m looking forward to seeing him play for Manchester United, I’m really looking forward to seeing where he will play.”
“I’m looking forward to seeing how the other players can change around him. I’m looking forward to seeing if he will be, and I use the term carefully, a selfish player who was at Juventus or if he’s going to be a Manchester United player,” he added.
Stewart Robson has also warned Manchester United fans that they are unaware of what Cristiano Ronaldo is bringing to the club, as many have not seen the 36-year-old at Juventus.
“These are important questions that everyone should ask. I would say that most Manchester United fans did not look up to Juventus so they do not know what to bring to the team,” he said. .
Manchester United fans expect Cristiano Ronaldo to lead them to the Premier League
Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival at Manchester United has been a signature this summer. The Red Devils have signed a former Real Madrid player on a two-year deal with an option to extend for another year.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s signing has made Manchester United one of the Premier League’s top scorers this season, which could be their first competitive title since 2013. The Red Devils have also strengthened themselves by signing Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has a team that can now compete with Chelsea and Manchester City on the title. Manchester United fans expect this to be the year they wait to win their 21st league title.
