Chopra took to his Twitter account when he posted this Ravindra Jadeja is chosen in front of Ravichandran Ashwin for the original with a rounder package compared to the old spinner.
Chopra wrote:
“It’s not Jadeja – the shooter who chooses Ashwin in England … it’s the package Jadeja is in”
The opener added that Jadeja’s selection was in line with the team’s vision of a five-man squad.
He signed a declaration stating that party selection is important and not just fair.
