NFL preseason 2021 – 5 rookies who were very impressed


The 2021 NFL preseason is over and the teams are now preparing for their Week 1 game next week. Many teams rested their old beginners and the rookies were given ample opportunity to showcase their talent.

Some rookies struggled with their first NFL performance, e.g. WR Kadarius Toney and QB Kyle Trask. Several NFL rookies caught fire and are interested in the NFL and fun football.

Five rookies were the best known in the NFL preseason and all could start in the 2021 season at some point. Let’s see who they are.

# 1 – Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers TE

Pittsburgh Steelers former QB Charlie Batch loves that his team managed to take on State Pat Pat Freiermuth. It is very closed and is already at the same level as the first one Eric Ebron as an artist-destroyer with endzone vulnerability. Stevenson has scored five top NFL TDs in the past as a fourth rookie. He was one of the best RBs in three NFL preseason games with 217 yards and his longest run was 91 yards.

His success led Sony michel being on sale and Stevenson can now see the back of New England Damien Harris. He was the second-highest non-PFF 1-round rookie (85.5). # 4 – Justin Fields, Chicago Bears QB

OL isn’t that big right now and you don’t want to put your precious rookie behind a wall that can’t protect him.

# 5 – Royce Newman, Green Bay Packers OG

Royce Newman was the top PFF leader with a non-1-round rookie (91.8) as a fourth-round pick. He was the top scorer in the first two NFL preseason games. He showed a quick explosion and was brutal in closing.

He did well to be a great lock on the window and his awareness has already been justified in planning what he would do if no one took him in. Newman has been working on a first team offense and it would not be surprising if he won the starting role of Lucas Patrick. Green Bay’s OL has a lot of young people these days, which is good news for them Jordan’s love.
