Last week, a security investigator made public the findings of several zero-day items found in iOS 15. The investigator says he tried to reach out to Apple to tell them about this, but he never heard of it and iOS 15 was released even though he had warned them about this problem before then.
Apparently it took Apple to get the unnecessary curiosity of where the company responded. In an email sent to Denis Tokarev, the investigator, Apple apologized for the delay in returning to him and said he was still investigating what he had informed them.
According to the email, “We have seen your blog posts and other reports. We apologize for the delay. We would like to inform you that we are still investigating the matter and how we can resolve this to protect our customers. Thank you for taking the time to inform us about these matters. you have questions. ”
Some analysts feel that Apple’s response is inadequate, especially since the company’s masterpiece is more than five years old.
Speaking to Motherboard, Katie Moussouris, a technology expert who worked for Microsoft, said, “You may think that their bribery program is the most healthy solution as they offer a million dollars as their biggest reward. But that is not the case.”
