Instagram Hits Slow Box for ‘Kids Kids’

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Facebook was working on Instagram Kids. This could create the kind of Instagram whose stories can be fun for kids, like what Google did with YouTube Kids. However, it seems that Facebook’s opinion has been preserved since then.

According to Adam Mosseri, head of Instagram, “We strongly believe that it is better for parents to give their children the opportunity to use the Instagram account they have created – where parents can monitor and refine their experiences – rather than relying on the program to determine the age of very young children to get a license.”

He added, “While we wait for this to happen, we have decided to suspend the project. This will give us time to work with parents, professionals, policymakers and regulators, to listen to their concerns, and highlight the importance and importance of this work for young people online today. ”

The report states that critics have said that the platform for children is wrong, but Mosseri disputes this by saying that children are already online, and that accepting and creating a platform for them in particular would be better. Mosseri also said that the brand he wants to create may not be the same as the current Instagram, and it will not have ads and just display what is appropriate for the age.

That being said, we think there are difficulties in building such a platform. Even Google it didn’t go well with YouTube Kids. In any case, it seems that the platform plans have been suspended but will be expected to resume (if any) with everyone else’s opinion.
