India Antitrust Administrators Claim Google Google Abused His Android Authority

Apple and Google have two of the biggest platforms available right now like iOS and Android. Both of these platforms have a marketplace, which in recent years has been heavily enlightened by the cut-off that all companies take and the existing strict regulations.

Unfortunately for Google, it seems they have reached a critical point in India, where the antitrust agency has found that Google has “tortured” its responsibility to hurt its rivals. This is according to a two-year investigation by Reuters.

If this makes sense, it is because Google recently experienced a similar crisis in South Korea, where the country’s regulators are concerned hit the company a $ 177 million fine Misusing their authority by blocking Android forks. This is also the case in India, where administrators feel that Google has made it difficult for developers to use other versions of Android, and how they have “forced” them to install Google apps on their devices.

That being said, it seems that Google doesn’t see it that way and in the company’s statement, it says it hopes to work with Indian executives to “show how Android has contributed to competition and technology, not Less.”
