Ever since the iPad Pro was announced, it sounded like Apple was starting to focus more on it and less on its other tablets, such as the iPad mini which didn’t get much relief for a while. There have been rumors that the iPad mini could see a major overhaul, and with certainty at Apple’s September 14 event, it released.
According to rumors in the past, the iPad mini now looks like a kind of iPad Pro with all the features smooth around. It is now offered in four new colors with dyes, pink, starlight, and gray.
The show has been upgraded to an 8.3-inch display but has the same fond look for iPad mini fans. Apple boasts that the new chipset will provide a 40% increase in CPU performance and an 80% change over GPU front, as well as 2x faster learning mechanisms that would allow it to support the upcoming iPadOS 15 as a live version.
Apple has also mentioned the use of Lightning in support of USB-C, which means that users can now connect various USB-C tablets such as the iPad Pro. The iPad mini comes with stereo speakers, and will support Apple’s second pencil. There will also be support for 5G connection speed of 3.5Gbps.
While we don’t know how many people take pictures on their tablets, the cameras were upgraded to a 12MP rear camera with f / 1.8 aperture and True Tone flash, while the front-facing camera has a 12MP ultra-sensor all supported by Center Stage .
The new iPad mini will be priced from $ 499 and will be available for sale today and will be delivered to customers next week.
