Last year, Canon pushed the border of glass-free movies with EOS R5. Now the company releasing pro-grade camera designed especially for professional athletes and wildlife: new EOS R3
Canon says $ 6, ooo (body only) The ROS R3 is the “most sophisticated” company in the industry yet. And while it doesn’t come with 8K video support if you get to EOS R5, the R3 has a number of modifications, especially for archers who want to do well in your task.
The upgrade starts with the new EOS R3 24.1-MP BSI with CMOS sensor, which Canon claims is the best and offers better performance than the 30.4-MP sensor on the EOS 5D Mark IV. Combined with its Digic X processor, the R3 is capable of capturing 150 14-bit RAW images up to 30 fps with its electronic shutter (or 12 fps with mechanical shutter), with the option to select silent shooting (no AF assist monitoring, flash, or sweetening) with the touch of a single button.
The EOS R3 also features an impressive ISO 100 from ISO 100 to 102,400 (extended up to ISO 204,800 per output), as well as the ability to support autofocus transitions and monitor shooting at up to 60 fps. Canon says the R3 also comes with a good navigation system, combining a new history with the registration of whitewash that makes it easier and simpler to set a standard size based on your environment.

The performance of the EOS R3 AF was also greatly enhanced by the 1,050 AF that were dispersed at the sensor and facilitated better tracking, combining a new way of tracking cars (along with eyes, face, and body perception) to get the best professional experience like F1, sports, and motocross.
But perhaps the most exciting thing is that Canon is coming up with a new version of its product (Eye input AF) that gives you the option to choose a header view using R3’s EVF. When Canon incorporated AF eye surveillance on previous cameras since 1992, this is the first time Canon has included content on the EOS R line, suggesting that the message may be ready for even the most authoritative images.
Inside R3’s EVF, there is a dedicated sensor that tracks your location eye is watching, and while Canon admits that its AF model may not work in the eyes with all types of contact lenses, the company offers a very advanced reading machine that helps to work with or without glasses.
The program of The R3’s 5.76-million drop EVF now has an OLED panel powered by 60HZ or 120Hz price tags, as well as the ability to switch between high-resolution or OVF test formats that support high-resolution. And as an added bonus, Canon has also included an anti-flicker adapter that gives you the option to adjust the camera to avoid collisions with impending lights, and can adjust the anti-flicker discount from 50Hz to 8192Hz.
In terms of video, while the EOS R5 is still the preferred camera for people if they want 8K recording, the R3 still offers several types of recording including 6K 60fps RAW mode, uncompressed 4K 10-bit 120fps, and much more. And like other high-end EOS R cameras, the R3 offers 5-axis in-body image stabilization that supports up to eight shots (shots), similar to what you get on the EOS R5 / R6.
Lastly, as you might expect from a test camera, the EOS R3 features a body-mounted machine that is not compatible with harsh weather. And although they are similar in size to the Canon 1DX Mark III, the EOS R3 is about 70% lightweight, heavy only 1.81 pounds (body only).
So while EOS R3 is not cheap, it looks like a glass replacement replacement for the old 1DX Mark III which many end-of-life artists have been waiting for. R3 method is on sale sometime in November.
