The Broncos faced a major setback during their opening Sunday against the Giants.
The main receiver Jerry Jeudy injured his knee in the third round when he was beaten by Giant James Bradberry. Jeudy was removed from the field.
According to NFL Network correspondent Tom Pelissero, X-rays were wrong and the team said they had a celestial problem.

Jeudy was injured as he made his way across the pitch with his team facing third and 7th from the Giants ’33. He took the Teddy Bridgewater 20-mile route and started on the ground. The Broncos continued to hit the road.
Jeudy had a break as a rookie with the Broncos in 2020 Denver after scoring 15th entirely in Alabama. He drew 52 receipts from 856 yards with three touchdowns. Before leaving Sunday’s game, he had grabbed six yards from 72 yards.

Jeudy’s loss will add to the pressure of the likes of Tim Patrick, who led the team with six receptions last year, and KJ Hamler, who was fourth on the team with 381 yard recipients in 2020 and added three goals.
