Chris Woakes felt that England could be happy with their performance on the opening day of the fourth round against India at the Kia Oval despite dropping 53-3 in the final.
That left the visitors behind with 138 runs on throwing India out of 191 after Joe Root, who was fired 21 at the end of the day, won.
