Hair is something fun and frustrating. You can cut it, dye, straight or twist, or let you stay on course for a few days. If you want to get a polished look or just need to dry your hair quickly, you can consider a dryer.
Even if you don’t use it every day, it’s best to have one for other activities – like when you’re rushing to work in the shower; your lower curls need to be adjusted; or you crave smooth, shiny locks. No matter what, there are hair extensions that seem to be endless at any cost and come in many amazing colors. If you have easy-to-care hair that just needs a quick drying, you can go with the cheapest dryer you can find on your CVS. But some of us have irritated hair that needs special care.
A few of us at Gear Group have tried dry dryers, dry brushes, and lighters to find the best options. This is what we love. If you need a hair straightener to match your hair dryer, we have a guide for that too.
Updated December 2021: We’ve added two of our favorite hair dryers from Kosa and Shark (yes, a vacuum company).
