Recall Gavin Newsom cheers continue after a rally in San Rafael, CA was interrupted by an assistant with Newsom Sunday afternoon, who beat Recall’s supporter, knocked him to the ground. He attempted to cut down the 20 ‘Yes on Recall’ sign which was cut off on Highway 101.
The victim was identified as 59 years old Chris Carpinello, of Novato, CA. He was rushed to Marin County General Hospital in a state of shock and trauma after being thrown into a concrete road, and is in jail.
Police say the second victim was beaten by a pro-Newsom assistant who was beaten by a woman on a bicycle.

“The attack on our freedom of speech with Newsom’s supporters is the way Democrats in California work. But physical assault will not stop us from remembering Gavin Newsom. He should go here,” said Tief Gibbs, a local activist and activist.
“We are praying for our friends who were abused during the day. We will not back down,” Gibbs said.
