Dr. Lawrence Sellin is a regular assistant at Gateway Pundit, a COVID-19 correspondent, a retired Colonel in the US Army Reserve and a veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Earlier this week Dr. Sellin continued with CNN News 18 of India to discuss the problem today in South Asia.
Dr. Sellin described the profound changes we are experiencing.
Due to the lack of electricity generated by the US from Afghanistan, South Asia is on the verge of a major change due to the cooperation of China, Pakistan and the Taliban.
China wants to transform the United States as a major global power whose economic and military power in South Asia is paramount.
China wants to take control of South Asia, first economically following the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and then using its alliance with Pakistan to establish troops in the Balochistan region off the coast of Pakistan in the Arabian Sea.
The stadiums can be connected between China’s military base in the South China Sea and its naval base in Djibouti, at the mouth of the Red Sea and Suez Canal.
Chinese navy and pilots in Balochistan monitor the Arabian Peninsula and threaten another route, the Strait of Hormuz at the Persian Gulf oil port.
The Taliban have already announced that China will be the main supporter of the economy, with the largest use of Afghanistan’s economy and a vehicle through which Afghanistan’s goods can reach international markets, possibly through the CPEC.
In order to counter China’s efforts to achieve political and military support and to prevent the use of Islamic terrorism as a tool for foreign affairs in Pakistan, Quad countries India, the United States, Japan and Australia must provide international efforts to wisely disrupt China-Pakistan Axis plans.
Such a plan will incorporate traditional weapons and other means including economic sanctions, support for Taliban militants or independent groups, such as in Balochistan to disrupt CPEC and China’s military plans there. We must also have the opportunity to fight as part of an anti-terrorism program.
This work should be targeted mainly in Pakistan as it is the cause of most terrorism and weak links in China-Pakistan Axis.
