MARGARET BRENNAN: Let’s see this. I want to go on vaccination. This is a threat to national security, the health of the American people. The president has been given the responsibility to vaccinate because it has upset 80 million Americans who have not been able to clap their hands, and COVID is on strike again. He also said this because Republican governors are more competitive with those who live, especially children. Don’t they have a point?
REP. KINZINGER: Oh, I mean, I think he has a point. See, i- I don’t know if all his jurisdiction would be enough in court. There are legal questions on some of them. I will leave it to the lawyers because I don’t know, but I think it will save lives- and the failure here comes from leaders who have used the vaccine as a tribal tattoo. I mean, we all hear stories of people who are, you know, very red spots who are embarrassed to say they have a vaccine. This is crazy and stupid, and the problem with the leaders, especially the Republican leaders, who do not stand up and hide people and say, see, this is not what republicanism or conservativism should be like. And you see these ambassadors doing, you know? Mike DeWine in Ohio. And they are just being pushed aside by some of them who want to just start our foundation, get money from those who don’t care about their lives, they just care about the meaning of their votes and their policies as politicians. It’s really sad.
MARGARET BRENNAN: The RNC which, the National Republican Committee, has said it wants to publish, but this is a myth because nothing has been set up by the authorities. Is that what you mean when you say you are going to make money on this?
REP. KINZINGER: Well, that’s all. I mean, with them. And- if you look at any Republican, you know, not the Rep- there’s a lot that doesn’t do this, but there are some, you know, Republican members of Congress and things that make money after writing the first email, it’ll be a vaccine law–
MARGARET BRENNAN: Right.
REP. KINZINGER: – another thing, the Gestapo will come to your house and take your Bible. Like, this doesn’t happen, and it’s a play on people’s fears.
Republicans Kill People Because They Think It Will Help Them Succeed.
The only reason Republicans oppose the vaccine is because they think it will help them lay their foundations and win the by-elections. Republicans are ready to assassinate some of their allies if it helps to restore the House and Senate.
Since public voting indicates that their seats are favorable by about 25% of voters, there is no doubt that they will win.
Rep. Kinzinger is a Republican, but it is a Republican who takes his job seriously and puts his country ahead of his party.
