Police received a phone call Tuesday afternoon from a man who said the father entered the reception area at the Trump Hotel and left a large suitcase and a duffel bag at the reception area.
The man started screaming that there was a bomb as he got up and jumped into the closet, Las Vegas Review-Journal reports:
Las Vegas police on Tuesday arrested a man suspected of leaving a bomb at a reception in the Trump International Hotel.
Metropolitan Police Department Capt Dori Koren said police received a call at around 12:53 pm that someone had entered the reception area and left a large suitcase and duffel at the reception area. Shortly afterwards, he started screaming that there was a bomb in the house before he left. About 15 minutes later, the hotel received two calls for bomb threats.
The area was slightly relocated as police searched for “suspicious objects.”
Koren said earlier Tuesday afternoon the suspect was found and arrested in the afternoon. There is not much of the skepticism that was discovered immediately.
The police chief said there was no danger of the bomb being detonated.
Nothing about the complainant was released.
