The number of children worldwide COVID-19 is down this week but it is still high: a further increase of 2,700% since the end of June.
The program of The American Academy of Pediatrics has released a new version Monday shows that cases among children have “increased” in recent weeks.
This shows that more than 243,000 children became ill last week, down from last week when about 252,000 cases were reported, yet “the second highest number of children in one week since the outbreak began.”
It is a huge jump compared to 8,447 cases reported in late June or 12,100 in early July, information from AAP displays.
The dramatic jump comes as more and more schools return to personal learning and controversy escalates over vaccinations and masks across the country.

Putin isolates himself over allegations of COVID-19 cases in the middle of the court
