“Even in my community, problems arise with this COVID,” Putin said, according to a statement released. “We have to see what happens there. I think I should isolate myself soon. Many people around me are sick. ”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Tuesday that Putin was presumed missing but had met a man who had COVID. Peskov said Putin’s idea of isolation was made “after doctors have completed their experiments, their methods.”
Peskov did not say when Putin began his secession, after being told he did not have one, to stay away from him, or who the President’s contacts were with – unless there were a number of cases.
Putin has a comprehensive vaccine against the Russian Sputnik V vaccine.
