CRYING, September 12, 2021 / CNW / – China has a habit of honoring teachers. Since 1985, the country has held elections September 10 each year as Teacher’s Day pay homage to teachers and mentors across the country. It is something that Chinese President Xi Jinping has been doing for many years. Through his words and deeds, Xi has been urging people to respect teachers and to take the lead in education.
Mu letter to representatives of the teaching units named after the late geophysicists at Jilin University Huang Danian on Thursday, Xi thanked the delegates for their excellent teaching and scientific research and expertise.
Recognizing Huang’s great contributions to world-class expertise, Xi encouraged college professors to move beyond China provide good guidance for students and provide new contributions to the work of fully building a modern cultural world. The letter shows that Xi has great respect for teachers – ideas that she has had for a long time.
“It would be a great opportunity to have a good teacher; it would be an honor for a school to have good teachers. Promoting such teachers can give hope to the country,” Xi said during a visit to Beijing Normal University in 2014.
At the time, Xi remembered his school years, and said he was grateful for what he had learned from his teachers.
“I have received advice from many teachers. They have taught me knowledge and being a good person, which has been very rewarding,” the Chinese president said, hoping teachers could use their knowledge and experience to guide students to grow up healthy.
Mu September 2016, Xi returned to his Beijing Bayi School to meet his teachers Chen Zhonghan and Chen Qiuying, among others.
“You were very active during these years. But looking back, I have benefited from your teachings forever,” Xi told his former teachers.
On the contrary, respect for teachers not only pervades their behavior but also affects what motivates a country to reform the world.
In his speech at the 2018 World Summit, Xi emphasized education as a “must-have” item. China for the reform of the world. They see students as the most important factor in shaping the world in the future, while teachers are the ones who dream.
Encouraging teachers to donate more money to parties and people, Xi called for the advancement of political educators, and monitoring education.
