Aaliyah released countless songs on his career, but unfortunately, many of them did not attend the promotional meetings. For years, the singer’s position has been at war with his uncle and former Blackground Records manager Barry Hankerson, over his rights. However, in August, fans had hoped that his songs would continue to air on television Blackground Notes 2.0 shared a new page and a hashtag that was offensive, “Aaliyah is coming. ”
Soon, it was revealed that Hankerson found an alliance with the Empire which makes Blackground sites – including Aaliyah works and artists’ albums like Timbaland & Magoo, Tank, Toni Braxton, and JoJo – available for the first time ever. This includes digital and physical purchases, as well as vinyl, cassettes, and CDs. The translation dates of the Aaliyah are: One in a Million on August 20, LIYΛH on September 10, and I care 4 U and Absolute Aaliyah on October 8.
Shortly after the Blackground 2.0 Records account was released, Aaliyah’s place wrote the words opposing the release of illegal activities from the late caller. “Protecting the legacy of Aaliyah is then, and will always be, our goal,” the site said. “For 20 years we have been fighting in secret, enduring false deceptions and illegal projects that seek to destroy … our hearts to speak words – forgiveness.” In response to the Blackground 2.0 Records page, the site shared their own hashtag, #IStandWithAaliyah, in their tweet. Missy Elliott, who has been associated with Aaliyah several times, shared a photo of what she said in the house on Twitter.
