Toxicity is rising while Americans are treating Covid with drugs

This letter: The Road to Recovery

The number of Americans suffering from Covid-19 ivermectin complications has doubled since antiretroviral drugs were cited as antiretroviral therapy.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has received 49 reports of toxic and other side effects related to human consumption of ivermectin to stop Covid so far this year. The same total for 2020 was 23 cases, according to a report in the Financial Times.

This follows the use of ivermectin following its distribution with other monitors as a means of supplementing Covid-19, although it has not been approved by regulators to control the virus. Medical advice is increasing the number of pre-epidemic epidemics, reaching 88,000 in the last week on August 13, according to a study from IQVIA, a research company.

Officials in New Mexico say this week they are investigating whether the deaths of two people with Covid-19 are linked to high ivermectin levels.

And indicating that the FDA’s negative response could reduce the severity of the problem, there has been a 26-fold increase in the drug in New Mexico since early December, compared with just two in the last 11 months.

“Almost all of our cases are being used to prevent or treat Covid and 13 of them this year have gone to hospital,” said Susan Smolinske, director of the New Mexico Drug and Information Center.

“Coma, epilepsy dreaming, dizziness, panic disorder as nausea. This is what we see from a very large scale,” he said.

Ivermectin can be used in small doses for the treatment of worms or head lice but is also widely used by vets in the treatment of horses on horses.

The FDA has received 110 reports of serious misconduct related to all forms of ivermectin use so far this year, compared to 99 cases for the whole of 2020. it is dangerous to drink too much.

“We are not scared. You are not a cow, “the FDA wrote in a tweet last month.” Great, y’all. Faith. ”

Preliminary results in some education scientists say ivermectin reduces mortality in some Covid-19 patients. But the FDA says the current data are inconsistent with its use in preventing or treating the virus and have not approved it.

In February Merck, a manufacturer of ivermectin, said there was no scientific basis for co-opting Covid-19 from previous studies.

Amesh Adalja, a study specialist at the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, said the increase in calls to poisons was worrying.

“Some people are receiving prescription drugs from traditional healers and are applying the appropriate human remedies used in infectious diseases. Some are getting veterinary medicine and are using drugs that have not been tested by humans, ”he said.

Dr Adalja said the drug had become political during the epidemic and there was no medical evidence to support its use against Covid-19.

Fox News featuring Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham all cited ivermectin as a Covid-19 supplement. This follows the development of antimalarial hydroxychloroquine as a Covid-19 supplement last year by commentators and former President Trump.

Fox News did not respond to a request for comment.
