In 2018, Facebook unveiled for the first time a video call device called Portal. The company later followed suit and many Portal tools which came in a variety of forms, and it looks like Facebook is making progress as it has announced two new Portals – Portal Go and Portal Plus.
Starting with Portal Go, this is a 10-inch tool that its retail space would be a viable option. It can be powered by a battery which means you will be able to use it anywhere you go as long as you have internet. It also stores features such as auto-scanning, viewing, and editing, although it is possible to open, as well as a permanent secret shutter.
As for Portal Plus, this is a 14-inch tool that is actually more advanced than the original Portal. However, Facebook seems to have lowered the permissive display that allows you to get away from photos and visual effects, so if you’re not arguing too much about this, we think it’s not a really big deal.
Since this is a Facebook commercial, it is not surprising that there are support for sites like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, but if this is not your junk, it also works with other video software like Zoom, Webex, BlueJeans, and GoToMeeting, and in December there are plans to expand support for Microsoft. Teams.
The new Portal Go will sell for $ 199 and Portal Plus for $ 349 and is set to launch on the 19th of October, but pre-order opened on a Facebook page.
